Tuning

Posted on 29. August 2009 10:29 - 10 comments

My  tech had to leave to get to the Atomic factory on time to ship the skis to Portillo Chile. The next camp starts there in a few days, and it would be kinda stupid to arrive there if there were no skis. So I do a little tuning myself. Not anything like the tech does. But since the snow is suft and this isnt a race it will do the trick.

@ Ida: thanks for explanation :-)

Conditions in Chile should really be perfect at the moment ... wish you a great time! I am also looking forward to winter and lots of snow for skiing, but this will still take a while ... have fun!

The conditions in Portillo must be very good as the austrian skiers say. So I hope you can get some good runs there. It´s a really perfect place to train over summer especialy downhill and super g.
Wish you a very good time!

Look forward to Portillo - great conditions and lots of snow , the Austrian team stays already there for 2 weeks . I hope the conditions don`t change till team Norway arrives. Has it ever happened to ski teams that skis disappear like normal (tourist) luggage?

Here's one of the occasions when the band's name No Waxing Needed would not work, right? :) and how are the skis actually shipped, are they a special luggage for the airlines? (that's really me, i found me some internet on the road, damn traffics)

Would you like to go "birken" too Aksel, if you were home?
Now we taking bad conditions...poor guys!! Mud-biking...

@Lexi Birkebeiner`n is a norwegian biking race over the mountain.

I guess you also know a lot about tuning Aksel, so you definitely did a pretty good job. And I agree with "I-ski-like-a-girl" ... the colors really match.

btw: What is Birkebeiner'n?
Anyone who would like to explain it to all non-norwegians? :-) At least I assume that it is something typical norwegian.

Hey Aksel,
This shot's really cool. Really like the colour in the back that matches perfectly with the floor and your jeans. Great style by the way, awesome...really like it.Wow...
