Packing my bags again

Posted on 02. March 2010 22:10 - 99 comments

Just got home from a dinner party with some of my best friends.  Good Indian food, but most important , good friends that I almost never  get to see during the winter. Now I’m packing my bags and getting ready to leave for the next world-cup races in Kvitfjell. Races there this weekend.  Back to the office!

OK people...it's called Google Translate. You don't have to actually learn Norwegian. Although I'm sure Aksel would be impressed by your dedication.

Ever think about modeling on the side? You totally could if you wanted to. Think about it ;-) Did I mention you're hot??

Have fun in Germany!

Yes I take your point!!..lol....... to be honest I'm a Daniel Craig girl (James Bond)...but to be honest I have never read anybody's blog before now so this is a whole new experience....!! lol

Us British don't have that many skiers to cheer for so I don't mind routing for a Norwegian such as Aksel....!!!

Axl, hope your battery get somewhat recharged with good food and company of your family/best friends. From the tone of your writing, one just knows that you wish the down time could be a little longer... all the best for the remaining 2 races, we know you will take care of business and have some fun too!
Axl or BP? It's a no brainer as far as I am concerned...
Not only A is far more handsome, atheletic, cooler, but most important, the inner quality (the grace, the substantiveness) of our Attacking Viking is one in a million and the reason we would like to support, interact and cheer for from four corners of the Earth.
Have fun in your Office!

@Brangelina (just teasing): There is no doubt he is better looking than Brad Pitt. I just made the comparison because he comes to mind when I think of looks and personality...well looks maybe a few years ago for Brad ;)

@Aksel : Millions of girls got a glimpse of you on tv sets all over the world during the Olympics so it's no secret that you have been noticed not because of your looks but also your personality. You appear to be very down to earth. The next Brad Pitt?

and A. - you're right! Them jackets need to be shown again. I m sure they are feeling pretty lonely by now, all alone stuffed into a closet or bag with some socks and a few spandex pieces.... man, hard life. and yes, i am back healthy, was pretty annoyed already, i am not at all talented in lyin around doing nothing, very under - challenged haha.... but i had no whisky near the bedside, nope, some cool happy antibiotic pills ;) and litres after litres of tea. (Why do all teas taste the same after a while?????????????? - very big business lacking situation....)

Oh, oh and can we use the secret forbidden words again now??????? The brummm brummm, food, and drinks and stuff...?

@Aksel Did I or anyone else comment sth about the OL outfit. Well, it was perhaps down to the fact, that it was not that flashy, haha... ;p) but I really liked it. Ok, the jackets not so much. Well, I expect a red. ;) But your helmet I liked the most. It had all the important colours you need, no more no less, looked aggressive and really vikingish, quite cool ()=, jawohl. Think, that has to be mentioned ... 'least once ;) "Office", sounds strange... aber och ja, das könnte mir auch gefallen... well, for the next days I have to sit, sit, sit and to talk, talk, talk... Enjoy your different office job! :)

@A: Yes, I think so. The Olympics were a little diferent world - as you said - also a little huge and stressful. WC is better in my eyes - more and longer fun and also exciting fight ;)

But I'm thinking about these feelings when I'm an Olympics winner (three-times) and I'm at home (finally) and I have to go in brief period to WC. Maybe I would be a little out of tune but ... perhaps only till the time I will arrive to Kvitfjell - it's true :) only loud thought.

Good night!

Of course, I liked the Olympics, it's something extra-hype and special, but I really like the normal races too. When there's not so much crazy pressure, we go and race, this is what we do, we like it and all that stuff. THe Office LOL

good night!

Heia Aksel. I have one question for you. When I read your posts in blog in few past week I wonder how you can motivate yourself to finish world cup this season. I mean you won 3 olympics medals and there is only a little chance you could win big crystal globe this season (I know there is also a little globe for Super-G) ... I don't want to say you should not go and race! I like watch races and of course attacking Vikings but I think you would have had great feelings from Olympics and also you had easygoing meeting with your friends and family...so I would like to know what is (in this moment) your 'drive motor' :)) I do not suppose the answer but I have to put this question because I'm full of last (in most case the same) reactions here ...but it's all right ;)

Of course, have fun and enjoy Kvitfjell and GaPa!
