Kjetil Jansrud doing what he does best. Being online… Ok, he’s a damn good skier, but being online is a good number two. Travelling around with Kjetil you’re almost guaranteed to get internet. I remember in Portillo Chile about a year ago he was on the phone with a guy from a phone company in Santiago who only spoke Spanish. Kjetil doesn’t speak a word, but he didn’t give up on the internet connection. And the good news is that he now has discovered my blog, and he’s very impressed by the good sense of humor you all have. Kjetil can be pretty funny himself, so I’m hoping he’ll be a regular. And with the shitty conditions we have had in Saas Fee these last days he has had plenty of time to live his online life. Hoping for more skiing, better skiing, but still plenty of internet activity. Me and Jansrud just arrived in Saas Fee. Crazy weather. 35 degrees!! Hope it gets cold during the night so we don’t have to ski in the slush. But we better enjoy the warm sun. It’s supposed to get bad in a day or two. Smooth travels to get here and now I’m looking forward to rip some turns. Aksel
Egil has been our physiotherapist for the last 18 months. He’s a great guy and very good at his job, so no wonder Schalke 04 wants him to come work for them. Egil helped me a lot during the recovery from my crash in Beaver Creek and to come back and be fast again last season. He has worked in German football earlier. Before he came to us he was in Wolfsburg. Now Felix Magath has moved from Wolfsburg to Schalke 04, and it looks like he wants Egil there as well. What’s kinda cool is that they have been watching his work in our team also. Checking the results and how/if I came back from my injuries. Being the number 1 physio for Schalke 04 is a one in a lifetime opportunity for Egil. And as much as I hate loosing him I have no problem understanding his choice. The Bundesliga is big. I worked with Egil today and the camp starting in Saas Fee SUI tomorrow will be his last with the team. I wish him the best of luck in Schalke 04 and hope I haven’t seen the last of him…
From today on i'll be doing the work on the website om this thing. 1.9kg light and and more 9 hours of battery life. Perfect for those long flights.
Flew back to Oslo to attend my friend Kristian and his girlfriend(now wife) Linn's wedding. Now the work at the church is done and we're off to the party. Good job Kristian!
